About Stocken Family Foundation

Founded by Joseph and Dorothy Stocken in 2019, the Stocken Family Foundation is a philanthropic organization dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals and communities in need. With a legacy rooted in compassion and generosity, the foundation strives to uphold the values of its founders while addressing pressing societal challenges.

Our Story

Joseph and Dorothy Stocken embarked on their journey of giving back to the community after establishing a chain of mini-supermarkets known as Handy Pantry Friendly Food Stores in 1976, headquartered in Long Island, New York. Their entrepreneurial spirit was matched only by their commitment to serving others, which led them to create the Stocken Family Foundation as a means to extend their reach and impact beyond the business world.

Our Mission

At the Stocken Family Foundation, our mission is to support organizations and initiatives that improve the well-being of individuals, families, and communities. Through strategic partnerships and targeted giving, we aim to create lasting change in areas such as healthcare, education, and social welfare.
